Installation causes minimal disruption to your daily routine and is usually completed within a 1.5 to 2 days. A system does not damage your roof and is fully integrated with your existing hot water system.
A solar thermal system can be installed alongside an existing PV system and we arrange collectors to look neat and in keeping with your property.
Prior to any Sunuser installation, a qualified surveyor will visit your property to thoroughly assess suitability and requirements. This survey is also an ideal opportunity to talk through any questions and discuss the benefits our system can deliver to you.
We use scientifically proven concepts and high quality components to adhere to the stringent requirements of MCS. This ensures maximum efficiency in terms of solar collection and hot water generation. We also calculate the RHI payments you will receive based on the ‘deemed’ heat that will be generated by your Sunuser system.
The specific design and equipment required for Sunuser solar thermal installations is passed to our skilled engineering teams who are employed to ensure efficient and speedy installation.
Sunuser engineers will fully commission and test the system. They will then explain how the system works and provide you with detailed operating instructions.
As part of our service, Sunuser will also arrange for an Energy Assessor to visit your property to complete an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). This Certificate shows the energy efficiency and energy consumption of your property and must be completed in order for you to be eligible for the RHI. Loft and cavity wall insulation must be in place where recommended. For self-build properties an RdSAP EPC is needed.
The entire installation is guaranteed for 2 years and the solar collectors have a 10 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty we know will be honoured.
Solar thermal systems can be installed on pitched or flat roofs or on the ground using ‘A’ frames.
