From 2nd April 2012 all households in England, Scotland and Wales can apply for a £300 voucher under the Renewable Heat Premium Payment (RHPP) scheme.
This £300 voucher is valid for three months and once the government meet their £25 million budget limit they will stop issuing vouchers.

By installing an MCS accredited Sunuser solar water heating system (MCS No: NIC 1168) you would be eligible to use your voucher.
Your house must be your main home and have fundamental energy measures in place where practical, such as loft insulation to 250mm and thermostatic controls on radiators.
Once the system is running you will be asked to fill in two customer surveys. Several customers will also be asked to have extra meters fitted free of charge to their system to enable the government to monitor system performance.
Furthermore, homeowners who have installed systems under the Premium Payments will be eligible for continued support through the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) provided they meet the full eligibility criteria of the RHI scheme.
It is anticipated that the RHI will be finalised by the government in summer 2013.
